SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Tamis is an industry leader in the sale of crowd management products to companies nationwide. We are hiring experienced people to join us in implementing stage 2 of our solid five year expansion plan. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be a VIP (Very Important Player) in that growth plan. The SDR has the opportunity to join a team that drives our success by building and nourishing customer relationships. If you love the idea of growing a business, this role is for you.

This will be an intense sales environment. Your career at Tamis begins with a full month of basic training on our customers, the industries we service, our products, our CRM and sales skills. Your inside sales abilities will grow as you learn a variety of techniques that help you provide solutions for your customers.

Our training is ongoing as you continue to acquire product knowledge, new skills and practical strategies that enable you to facilitate business-to-business relations with corporate customers though high volume calling, email campaigns and other prospecting strategies.

What we offer:

  • $50,000 salary plus monthly commissions and quarterly bonuses based on exceeding quotas.This is a revenue-generating position. The more revenue you produce, the bigger your monthly commission check and quarterly bonus.
  • Full time,exempt position working 40 hours per week. No evenings or weekends. Those hours should be spent with family, friends, sporting events, hobbies and pursuing your personal life.
  • 12 days PTO in the first year plus 8 paid holidays.
  • A choice of two PPO medical plans (a zero-deductible and a $750 deductible with our company paying 88% of the cost), vision, dental, $50,000 Life and AD&D at no cost to you, and a 401(k) plan
  • Ongoing sales training, including online classes, Sandler training, and a tuition reimbursement plan

How your day will be spent:

  • Answering inbound phone calls and email inquiries which originate from our websites and current customers.
  • Outbound communication by phone and email to cold and warm leads, identifying, qualifying and engaging key decision makers.
  • Outbound communication with established customers to maintain, nurture and increase revenue from these accounts
  • Conducting follow-up phone calls to move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Managing data for current and new customers in our CRM database, ensuring all communications are logged and kept up-to-date
  • Processing orders from various sources – clients,websites, purchase orders and referrals.
  • Maintaining contact with the customer and resolving any issues

What you need to be successful:

  • Minimum of 3 years in B2B telephone sales, with the ability to effectively use the phones to project a professional image.
  • Ability to be a team player, supporting and encouraging those around you.
  • Skilled in the use of databases, and Microsoft Office.
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities,managing time efficiently to attain goals.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced (and often stressful) outbound call environment.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Love of continuous learning
  • Sense of humor a plus!
